Purpose of the Job 

TCHC is looking for an enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice based at our Administration Office in Watford but will be required to travel to other locations as needed such as our Stansted Office.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and administration, willing to learn and be a team player.

You will be working in a busy environment and you will need to be good at multi-tasking and be able to engage with customers on the phone and face to face. You will be required to work with the team and learners to support with paperwork to onboard learners onto programmes.

The successful candidate will go on our Business Admin Apprenticeship programme where you will work towards a nationally recognised qualification.

MainTasks & Responsibilties

  • To provide admin support to the team.
  • To complete your Business Administration Apprenticeship programme.
  • Entering client records on to TCHCs Client management system.
  • Typing up minutes, letters, reports, and other documents – printing, photocopying and scanning.
  • Assist in the filling of client records and other TCHC documents.
  • Provide general administration duties for the Quality & Compliance Team.
  • Registering learners.
  • Ensuring all messages and correspondence are dealt with efficiently and promptly.
  • General administration duties as required.
  • In addition, you may be asked to carry out similar duties, appropriate to their experience and qualifications.

Note: These duties are a guide to the work the post holder will initially be required to undertake.  Amendments may be made from time to time as the role evolves and to meet changing circumstances and these do not form part of the contract of employment.

Skills & Attributes

Knowledge/ Technical Skills 

   

Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint – intermediate competency required.

 
Database Input (eg, TCHC CRM other in-house systems) – basic competency required as training given).   √ 
Ability to sort, assess and analyze large quantities of data and report salient facts and findings in a sensible and concise manner.  √  
Clerical processes eg, alpha/numeric/chronological filing and index systems.  

Experience 

   
Previous experience of admin support work essential.  Personal attributes and attitude to work equally important.   √
