If you are looking to find a job and need support, Community Connections North is a flexible programme that can help you develop the skills you need to make that step into work.
Community Connections North is a network of local specialist support organisations with a wide range of expertise to help build skills and confidence to get into employment.
The programme is tailored specifically to individual needs, whatever and however complex they may be. Each participant will have a mentor who will be there to support them.
Participants will be actively encouraged to engage in community events and take on volunteering roles to help them develop their confidence, gain experience and feel connected to their community, with the ultimate goal to help them find employment.
The programme is funded as part of Building Better Opportunities by the European Social Fund, the National Lottery Community Fund.
Anyone aged 15 or over there is no upper limit, who is at a disadvantage when finding employment – this could be due to a disability, learning difficulty, you may be claiming benefits or economically inactive or have a wide range of other issues.
Residents of Wisbech, March, Whittlesey, Chatteris, Kings Lynn, West Norfolk, Rutland, Huntingdonshire, Ely and East Cambridgeshire, The area of the Greater Cambridge and Greater Peterborough LEP Fenland area (GCGP LEP).

For those who need to develop further skills and require training, they will be signposted onto relevant courses, support groups and mainstream programmes. Our recruitment team will be on hand to help them find local employment opportunities using their network of local employers.
