Team leading is an essential skill in any kind of work environment. Good team leaders ensure that their teams work effectively and efficiently, improving the productivity of a team. The aim of the Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship is to provide individuals with all the skills and knowledge needed to run an efficient, successful and motivated team.
A Team Leader/Supervisor is a first line management role, with operational, project or team leading responsibilities to deliver a clearly defined outcome. They provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals.
The Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship provides businesses with effective and skilled individuals who can manage teams and projects to meet goals.
Successful completion of the Apprenticeship will award:
If you do not have Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) you will be required to complete Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2 during the Apprenticeship. Length of the programme is 15 months. |

The Operations and Departmental Manager Apprenticeship is an industry designed and recognised Apprenticeship. This Apprenticeship is ideal for Operations/Departmental Managers who may manage teams and/or projects, and have responsibility for planning, delivering and achieving departmental goals and objectives. They are accountable to a more senior manager, head of department or small business owner, and are responsible for the operational and/or policy delivery of the organisation’s strategy.
The Operations and Departmental Manager Apprenticeship is applicable for all sectors and business sizes. It is suitable for those at the start of their operations/departmental management careers as well as those with more developed practical experience, but who wish to develop their theoretical understanding of management skills.
Completion of the Apprenticeship will award:
Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English will also need to be attained if you have not previously achieved an equivalent qualification. Length of programme is a minimum of 24 months |
