TCHC Group Limited was set up in August 2004. Since then TCHC has grown rapidly and gained a wealth of experience working with organisations including the Education and Skills Funding Agency, The National Lottery Community Fund, Department for Work and Pensions, Local Authorities including the Greater London Authority, and Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPS).
We have been influential in helping to create and promote new ways of engaging with employers and individuals on the benefits that improved skills can bring to both businesses and careers. Our independent status has always offered our contractors flexibility and impartiality that has helped to raise standards within the industry.
We have gained a reputation for our quality of work, our ability to meet challenging targets and our proactive and innovative approach. We have found ourselves in increasing demand, especially in helping failing projects meet their targets. Successive project evaluations have praised TCHC for our quality, cost-effectiveness and our imaginative approach to problem-solving.
In its history, TCHC has been responsible for the delivery of a variety of different projects.
Through the highest quality Information, Advice and Guidance from its highly trained, professionally accredited advisers TCHC has helped people from the hardest to reach clients, people facing redundancy, job-seekers, senior managers and directors. We have also worked with businesses of all sizes to upskill their workforces.
To date, TCHC has helped thousands of individuals to improve their skills when faced with redundancy or unemployment, helping many of them back into work through our ESF funded programmes; skills support for the unemployed and skills support for redundancy.
TCHC has played a big part in the success of the Leadership and Management programme in the East of England, helping to co-ordinate a programme that has benefited thousands of Small to Medium-sized Enterprises. Our support has helped them survive recessions and develop vital skills and knowledge that will benefit our economy in the future.
TCHC is proud to have helped over 50,000 employers through Train to Gain and the Integrated Brokerage Service in the East of England and was delighted to deliver the contract in partnership with Business Link, under the Business Link brand, which is a testament as to how far the company has come.
In delivering all its past and current contracts, TCHC has shown it can work within the stringent management and quality assurance processes set down by the public sector agencies. This reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering a first-class service to all our clients.
In 2015 we acquired All Trades Training Ltd (ATT), an outstanding training organisation that delivers Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Vocational Qualifications. In 2019 ATT was awarded an Ofsted Good grade. ATT now forms part of the TCHC Group of companies.
TCHC achieved the OFSTED standard Good in April 2017 and continues to grow the educational side of its business with six existing GAPS centres up and trading we have a target of 10 by 2022.
Since 2004 we have extended our delivery area from the East of England up to Northamptonshire, Birmingham and London where new contracts were won.
TCHC is now looking forward to the future and building upon its successes to date. It has made big strides in boosting skills, but there is plenty more work to be done and it will continue to devote its full support and expertise to help people and businesses to grow.
