TCHC (The Consultancy Home Counties Ltd) was set up in September 2004. Over the past six years TCHC has grown rapidly and gained a wealth of experience working with important organisations such as the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), East of England Development Agency (EEDA) and the European Social Fund (ESF). The company has been influential in helping to create and promote new ways of engaging with employers and individuals on the benefits that improved skills can bring to both businesses and careers. Our independent status has always offered our contractors a flexibility and impartiality that helped to raise standards within the industry. TCHC has gained a reputation for its quality of work, its ability to meet challenging targets and its proactive and innovative approach and has found itself in increasing demand, especially to help failing projects meet their targets. Successive project evaluations have praised TCHC for quality, cost-effectiveness and its imaginative approach to problem solving. In its short history TCHC has been responsible for the delivery of a variety of different projects, which have helped many thousands of people in the East of England to learn new skills they otherwise would not have had the opportunity acquire. Through the highest quality Information, Advice and Guidance from its highly trained, professionally accredited advisers TCHC has helped people from the hardest to reach companies, people facing redundancy, job-seekers, senior managers and directors as well as working people from businesses of all sizes. To date TCHC has helped over 8,500 individuals to improve their skills when faced with redundancy or unemployment, helping many of them back into work. TCHC has played a big part in the success of the Leadership and Management programme in the East of England, helping to co-ordinate a programme that has benefited over 5,000 Small to Medium sized Enterprises survive this recession and develop vital skills and knowledge that will benefit our economy in the future. TCHC is proud to have helped over 45,000 employers through Train to Gain and the Integrated Brokerage Service in the East of England and have successfully delivered for 100% of the contract for the year 2009/2010. TCHC was delighted to deliver the contract in partnership with Business Link, under the Business Link brand, which is a testament as to how far the company has come in such a short time. In delivering all its contracts, TCHC has shown it can work within the stringent management and quality assurance processes set down by the LSC and EEDA. TCHC has recently been awarded the matrix Standard, which is the national quality standard for any organisation delivering Information, Advice and Guidance on learning and work and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering a first class service to all our clients. TCHC is now looking forward to the future and building upon its successes to date. It has made big strides in boosting skills in the East of England, but there is plenty more work to be done and it will continue to devote its full support and expertise to helping people and businesses to grow. |
