Response to Redundancy - Employer InformationResponse to Redundancy aims to support staff whose jobs are at risk. It provides funding and support to better prepare individuals for the job market once they leave their current employer. To be eligible, staff must be directly employed by the company, temps and agency workers are excluded for example. For sub-contractors, Response to Redundancy would need to make separate arrangements with their employing company. To access training each employee must have an information and advice session with a professionally trained adviser, lasting about an hour. During the advice session the adviser will:
Additionally, Response to Redundancy can provide outplacement training workshops, which include things like CV preparation, interview techniques and job search. Normally one to one sessions and workshops take place on the company's premises but if this is not possible we will arrange an alternative location convenient for staff. We work closely with other support prgrammes and organisations such as Job Centre Plus. We will be pleased to arrange joint visits where appropriate. If you are using your own contracted outplacement provider Response to Redundancy is happy to liaise with them enabling your employees to take advantage of training opportunities.
