  • The Windows Vista theme
  • Using search.

Managing Files

Customising Windows Vista

  • Using Windows Explorer
  • Changing window view options
  • Using the toolbar
  • Arranging icons and lists
  • Renaming, copying and moving files
  • Viewing drives and folders
  • Creating and deleting folders
  • Using undo and finding a file
  • Recycling and deleting files.
  • Changing settings and appearances
  • Controlling the mouse
  • Working with shortcuts
  • Working with the Start Menu
  • Adding a program to the Start Menu
  • Removing a program from the Start Menu.

Bespoke Windows workshops are delivered at your premises, for a minimum of six delegates, and will cover specific program features most relevant to your organisation. Entry Requirements: No experience of Windows is required. In fact, no PC experience is necessary for this course (one day version). Experience in a previous version would be an advantage. Basic ability to use of the mouse and keyboard is required.

Duration: Half day (previous windows users) or one day (new users). The workshop can run as three two hour sessions per day when large numbers of relatively experienced staff are involved

Cost per delegate: full day £195.00 excl VAT, half day £110.00 excl VAT
