Keystone Development Trust

Project Name: META Works!

Keystone Development Trust provides information and support to the migrant European community through its ‘META’ services (Mobile Europeans Taking Action). META Works! will provide targeted support to 62 unemployed European migrants, incorporating a four-day intensive course and a four-week ‘Language for Work’ course, designed following research with  local employers and migrants.

Gainsborough House

Project Name:  Gainsborough's House, Developing Community Engagement

Gainsborough’s House is a well-respected institution running a museum, gallery & shop. We will provide varied learning opportunities for people of all abilities supporting & training participants to undertake regular voluntary tasks. The project aims to develop in participants, an awareness of their existing abilities and a sense of pride in their achievements.

The Waveney Community Forum CVS

Project Name: The Crossing

We are based in the Harbour ward of Lowestoft, one of the most disadvantaged in the Eastern Region with low skills and high worklessness. The services we provide are free, friendly and flexible to help people improve their chances of gaining employment, get back into lifelong learning, increase their skills in basic IT or undertake volunteering.

East Anglian Complementary Health

East Anglian Complementary Health will provide courses for eligible clients  from Norfolk or Suffolk. Topics include Confidence Building, Effective Communication, Computing  and self help techniques for people to manage their stress.
