Project Name: Open Doors
Our working paper mill, visitor centre and creative arts centre offers a range of opportunities for learning and volunteer experience. Learners begin with individual assessment and develop their personal learning plan. Those without IT skills can learn to use online services including e-mail, and preparing CVs.

To support skills development in a range of activities including fork lift, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and CSCS Theory. IAG support will be provided for individuals to assist there personal development to employment. Three Next Step IAG Sessions will be offered for individuals to formulate action plans and follow ups.

The aim of this project is to enable people from socially excluded groups to move into or closer to employment including (self employment), education, and training and have the opportunity to engage in a number of employment coaching interventions. Headway Hertfordshire
Project Name: HABIT Plus- Helping Acquired Brain Injury Together
There are many barriers that people affected by a brain injury might have to face in returning to work including poor memory, fatigue, difficulties concentrating and low noise tolerance. For our carers barriers often include a loss of confidence, concerns about leaving their loved one, or need for greater flexibility in working hours.

RISE
Project Name: RISE...For Better Mental Health
RISE, a new service-user led social enterprise is able to offer, 12 people affected by mental health problems who are looking to return to work, job-skills training and practical work placements at its offices at The Old Free School in Watford. A further 12 people will follow the University-accredited Recovery In-Sight training to enable them to manage their mental health condition.

Safer Places
Project Name: Open Doors
The project will support hard to reach lone mothers living in refuge, accessing our outreach services, or any other lone mothers wishing to build their confidence and to develop their employability skills, in East Herts and Broxbourne. Childcare support will also be provided to these individuals to increase take up and attendance.
