Bikewiser
Project Name: Bikewiser training to work
Bikewiser is a Community Interest Company that provides work experience and training opportunities for a range of excluded and disadvantaged groups. We provide support through the medium of developing peoples’ bicycle mechanics skills taught in a friendly and considerate working environment. We support the the homeless, lone parents, people with health conditions and recent prison leavers, but no one is excluded from attending our centre, We are now developing accredited training to assist people find routes back into employment.

Illuminate Charity
Project Name: Illuminate Coaching Programme
Illuminate Charity is working with 12 disadvantaged people to rebuild their confidence in attaining and sustaining work or training opportunities. We do this by bringing about fundamental change taking participants through an uplifting and challenging journey of personal development incorporating coaching tools.

Inspire (wellbeing through arts)
Project Name: Creating your own future
This innovative project will equip disadvantaged young adults with the skills, motivation and opportunities they need to make their own way in the world of work. They will develop creative skills, ICT and internet skills, confidence and aspiration. Creative Industries professionals will introduce them to the exciting world of digital design, film-making, animation and stage productions, as well as helping them to build their confidence and communication skills. They will investigate self-employed, partnership, and social enterprise options.

Cambridge Womens Resource Centre
Project Name: Return to Work
The aim of the project is to help break down the multiple barriers to employment which many women face. Through group work shop activities the focus will be building women’s confidence, skills and labour market awareness, they will become empowered, enabled and supported to get back into the workplace. A job club will also be developed which will support those completing application and submitting C.V’s. Referrals will also be made where appropriate for Skills for Life Support.

Project Name: FLACK FOR YOU
FLACK is a charitable social enterprise based in Cambridge. We work with the potential of homeless people by involving them in the production of a monthly what's on magazine for the city. FLACK offers training, support and a voice, helping to rebuild self-esteem and break the cycle of homelessness.

FACET
Project Name: Retail Skills Improvement Programme
Our project will focus on establishing a vocational training programme designed to equip learners with learning and other disabilities with the full range of skills needed to undertake work experience or voluntary work in the Retail sector and improve their employability skills generally. In addition we will also run weekly Job Clubs, to help learners improve interview skills, produce CVs, undertake workplace visits etc. Learners will come from the Fenland area of Cambridgeshire.

Rosmini Centre Wisbech
Project Name: Retail Supporting and Accessing Services to Employment
The centre would offer a course of four delivered over ten sessions each consisting of three hours. The sessions would cover C.V Writing, Internet Searching, work related courses which are relevant to the job they are interested in pursuing. Courses will also include skills checking to ascertain there level and IAG to identify a progression pathway.

CP Learning Trust
Project Name: Access Employment - Migrant Workers Qualification Conversion
This project identifies migrant workers across mainly Cambridgeshire and Peterborough that are not accessing employment, and offering a range of services that encourages and supports them back into employment. Central to this is a modular workshop approach around the core modules of IAG, clients will be able to access job search, assessment of English skills, UK labour market requirements, confidence, and crucially, a conversion of their home qualification to the UK equivalent.

Walden in Transition
The Garden to Gain Project is being run by Walden in Transition at the Dig It Community Allotment in Saffron Walden. The project will improve the employability, confidence and social skills of local unemployed participants through learning to grow food together in a group and additional job application skills training.

Project Name: Operation Warriors Return - Section Silver
Operation Warriors Return provides opportunities for disabled and or unemployed Veterans to participate in a variety of programmes at a Cambridgeshire Care Farm alongside other Veterans.
Support and training given via a range of diverse activities such as horticulture, animal husbandry, fitness training, artistic, educational, and social events.
