Is your organisation making staff redundant?
If so, Response to Redundancy can offer you and/or your staff funded advice, guidance and re-training opportunities to help prepare for a new career or business start-up after redundancy.
Response to Redundancy consists of four stages:
Stage1: Initial group presentations of up to 90 minutes held in conjunction with Jobcentre Plus.
During the presentation the adviser will discuss the redundancy support available as well as the process.
Stage 2: One-to-one Information, Advice and Guidance session (mandatory)
During the confidential one-to-one session you will receive career guidance and you will formulate a career and job search action plan. The session can be scheduled at your place of work or off-site.
Stage 3: Employability skills training (optional with a choice of two)
Employability skills training include CV writing, interview techniques and job search training.
Stage 4: Training (optional)
If you have identified training or up-skilling in your action plan a grant may be available to assist you with the associated training costs. The training may include assistance with business start-up, change of career or executive career coaching.
Self employment support is available during Stage 4 of the Response to Redundancy programme and can cover topics such as:
